Raffle tickets sounds good. The turn out for the 10th reunion was good but I know that this word of mouth thing won't work too hot. This site is great, but only probably 35-45% of the classmates are using it or have access to it. So.......what about the other folks?

From most of the feedback I have gotten, most classmates don't know about this site. I think if we go out of our way to inform classmates about the site, it can be a great source of info. Also, regardless of what we say or do alot of classmates have absolutely no interest in attending our reunion or communicating with their former classmates. That's just a fact! |

| What about putting something in the Bulletin with the dates, contact information, etc. and ultimately sending people to this website? I think even those who do not want to or can't come would be inclined to visit the website. Also, some people read the Martinsville Bulletin online - even when they are long gone from Martinsville. |

Again...thanks for your leadership and work on this!
I'm not sure how much success an out-of-towner such as me would have selling raffle tickets. Wouldn't the price that each person/couple pays to attend the event offset costs? What else do we need fundraising for??? The Notices in the Bulletin should alert classmates and/or their families who still live in the 'Ville. Also the reader board at school could possibly be used.

I just moved back to the area from the NY area with my husband and two kids. I was looking for information on the reunion. A friend told me there was something in the paper about an early August date. I am assuming this October date is correct. I am local and offering assistance.
