We have a discount at the Dutch Inn for those coming to the reunion. Tell people to mention Martinsville Class of 71 reunion, and they will get about $20 off per night.
To get to the Fireman's Cabin on Friday night at 5:30, coming from Martinsville, you will take Liberty Street, which turns into King's Mountain Road once you get outside the city limits (at Pigs R Us). Follow King's Mountain Road until you turn right on Figboro Road (3rd? stoplight). Take first right where the signs direct you to the reservoir. At the bottom of the hill, take the gravel road which is between the fork in the road.
Saturday morning at 11:00 am, meet at the City Parking Lot across the street from the municipal building and old post office for our uptown walk. Bring your cameras!
Saturday night at 5:30, head to Lynwood Country Club which is on the right on DuPont Road. If you have friends who want to come to just mingle with our class after dinner, the charge for the dance with the Alley Cats will be $15, which will be taken up at the door. Money will be collected until 10:30 and the reunion will be over by 11:30.
The cost of the DVD is $17. You sign a receipt for that as you enter, and pay your $17 at that time. You will be mailed your copy of the DVD, which will contain both Friday and Saturday nights.
We will have a bartender to serve you your drinks, but you must bring and label your own alcohol and mixers.
