A GOOD FRIEND AND CLASSMATE PASSED AWAY David A. Judkins, - 20

[?? Suspicious Content] David A. Judkins, 66, of Marion, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, October 15, 2023 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro.

David was born to Lynwood J. and Nancy L. Judkins. He completed his undergraduate studies at North Carolina Wesleyan College, and obtained his Masters degree from Duke University. He was currently enrolled at Reformed Theological Seminary. David retired with Honors from the United States Air Force after serving 20 years, which included two tours of duty in the Persian Gulf War as well as Desert Storm. He then became IT project manager at International Paper for 20 years. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of West Memphis. David was an avid Ham radio operator and had numerous contacts world-wide. He was passionate about reading and had a love for Schnauzers.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lynwood J. Judkins.

David is survived by his wife, Brenda, of the home; mother, Nancy L. Judkins of Simpsonville, South Carolina; brother, Jeff Judkins and his wife Debbie of Greenville, South Carolina; brothers-in-law, Kent Ritchey and his wife Janice of Memphis, Dick Ritchey and his wife Diane of Germantown, and Dan Ritchey and his wife Laurie of Blytheville; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 19, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Blytheville. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at First United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made in Davids honor to the Polycystic Kidney Disease Foundation, P.O. Box 871847,
