IT'S PARTY TIME!!! - 11
09/14/04     Ann Carter Gardner  (1964)      agardner1@martinsville.k12.va.us
Put on your bobby-sox, Baby!
Roll up your ole blue jeans!
There's a band playin' over at Mavahi
That knows what Rock-n-Roll really means!
I want to ride in your '55 T-Bird
And bring back those old memories...
If you're not busy tonight
And you think it's all right,
I just want you to dance with me!

Hey, all you gorgeous DAWGS! I can't wait to see all of you at the MHS-Halifax Co. game on Oct. 15th. The stadium will be decorated in your honor, 'cause I'm decorating it! The school thinks it will be decorated for homecoming, but I am doing it all for you. This will be a homecoming like we used to have. The ladies of our class will be treated to a special "biiiiig" homecoming-mum at the gate with maroon and gray streamers and your very own gold-toned football sewn on just like we used to get from Hedgecock Florist. This is a gift for you compliments of the class of '64 and Janet Love Campbell who owns "Simply the Best" Florist. We need to know how many of you girls are attending the game so that we can arrange for you to get the homecoming corsage you deserve. Please let Jean know if you are coming to the game as well as to the Bills Bar-b-cue Blast Saturday night. Also we will be having a Rock-n-Roll Trivia contest with a great oldies collection CD that you may not have heard of but it is fabulous!! So roll up those blue jeans and put on those bobby sox and come on home. Remember: the Power of the Bulldog Spirit holds us together!
Remember, it won't be the same if you are not there.
