At one point in the early-to-mid 50's there
were brothers attending MHS by the name of
Dicky (may be a nickname) Martin and Ronnie
Martin. They lived somewhere on the south-
side of Martinsville and their father was a
Reverend (I think). I can find no record or
photo of either brother as having finished
school at MHS. Does anyone out there know
what became of these two boys? |

Re: Information ..... Please! |
Since making the above post I have learned
that there were actually 3 brothers - but,
I was never acquainted with the oldest. I
have also been told that the one I referred
to as "Dicky" is actually named "Billy". I
never knew him real well, either - but, do
recall him to be a fine catcher on the MHS
baseball team of 1953. |

Concerning the Martin brothers that attend-
ed MHS in the early-to-mid 50's. I have
found out that their family relocated to
North Carolina and that the two youngest
brothers - Billy Joe and Ronald - graduated
from high school down there. They were well
liked young men at MaVaHi and were fine ball
players to "boot". |
