| It seems that most of our class of '62 are much like I am when it comes to messages. I seems to think that there is not much to say. Well, today I have a lot to say and be thankful for. Our youngest son, Todd Matthews (son of Margaret Nagle and Ronnie Matthews class of '62) is on his way home from Baghdad after seving 1 year with his Army Reserve Civil Affairs Group. Should be back at Fort Bragg some time next week. He was part of the group that had lunch with President George Bush on Thanksgiving. We got to see him on TV and it was great! We are so thankful that he has been safe most of the time that he was there. Just wanted to share this with some of the people with whom I spent most of 5 years of my life!! Wishing eveyone blessings during the new year. It was 80 degrees here at the beach yesterday, and about 50 today. They are calling for snow on Friday - and yes, it does snow at the beach!! |
