| Joe and I went to our first Old Dawgs Reunion. It was fun. It was wonderful to see our "Older classmates"and our younger classmates. Kathy Mitchell Rice and her committee did a wonderful job. It was great seeing Dicky Goldman and Jimmy Amburn from the class of 1961. Bruce Lupton came from the Roanoke. And we were delighted to see Mary Ann Smith from the class of 1962. Irving Painter made the reunion better. "Hazel" was there and we had a good time talking to her. Jim Lusk was there.the class of 1959 came. We look forward to next year. |

| To add to Liz's notes, Betty Jo Browne Fulcher also made it over. Class of '62 was very sparse, to say the least. Class of '59 had had their 50th reunion the night before so they were loaded with folks. I urge all of you to consider going to this at least once. |

| I USUALLY TRY TO MAKE THE OLD DAWGS REUNION AND NOW THAT I HAVE MOVED BACK TO MARTINSVILLE IT SHOULD BE EASIER FOR ME TO ATTEND. I DID NOT MAKE IT THIS PAST WEEKEND BECAUSE I HAVE SEASON TICKETS TO VT FOOTBALL GAMES AND DIDN'T WANT TO MISS THE BC GAME.HOPEFULLY FUTURE REUNIONS WON'T CONFLICT WITH THE FALL FOOTBALL GAMES. I HAVE REALLY ENJOYED THESE REUNIONS IN THE PAST AND WOULD ENCOURAGE ALL CLASSMEMBERS TO ATTEND. |
