Reunion - 36
07/18/01     Nikki Richardson Cyntje  (1991)      nmakeba@yahoo.com
I was one of the people who got a cancellation letter. You guys, this is triflin'! A lot of us haven't seen each other since graduation. I was looking forward to seeing everyone in attendance. Some of us don't have the pleasure of hooking up every weekend at Applebee's to catch up:0)!! So, I hope more of the Class of '91 will decide to come to tha 'ville in September! It even looks like the price has dropped $40. See ya there!!!!

ps Didn't know about this website at all!

Re: Reunion
The info in the first message from Lisa is what Myrtle Hite and Eva Gendron told us. I could never understand how they arrived at $50/person, because their figures just didn't add up. The deadline of June 15th was set by the DJ because he needed payment on that date ($400).

Eva and Myrtle thought that if there were 50 classmates that would send checks, or the promise of one, that it would be feasible to have a reunion. In the cancellation letter, their list of people interested falls short of their goal.

My suggestion to everyone is to get in touch with as many people that you know and tell them that we are still having this reunion, but people need to commit to coming, otherwise it can't happen.

There are many people that want to come that did not receive the second and third letters, even after they mailed the first one.

You're right, not everyone does have the luxury of catching up on the weekends, being in Richmond I understand that as well.

If you can email or post messages on the other alumni sites and let people know to contact the email address mhsclassof1991@hotmail.com , that would certainly help get the message out.

Thanks.
