Hurricane Isabel - 23
09/17/03     Teresa Goodnow Kendall  (1978)      kkendall@kimbanet.com
Hey there! Just a note to ask you to please pray for my son Joe Hundley, and all aboard the USS Harry S Truman docked in Norfolk, VA. As you have heard, hurricane Isabel is on the roll and is about to rock our world, especially my son's. The military has sent out all planes and ships movable from South Carolina through Virginia, getting them away from the wrath. But Joe's ship is in dock since he just returned from the war and can't be moved, so they are trying to stabilize it as best they can and ride out the storm. My son's home is located just 50 yards from a sound off of the Chesapeake Bay and located just off of Willoughby Spitz which is expected to be flooded and damaged! Kerry and I went down Sunday and on Tuesday brought back all of their pictures and things that can't ever be replaced, but their furnishings are in danger. They have mandatory evacuation and my daughter-in-law and grandchildren are traveling home today.

Also, my disaster relief team is on ALERT and ready to go ASAP and we are just on Stand-by to see who gets hit the worst and where we are needed. PLEASE PRAY FOR ALL IN THE LINE OF THIS STORM and for us as we prepare to minister to victims and their needs.

Also, let's remember all classmates and families that are in the path too! Chuck and Judy Robertson especially!! All the one's in VA Beach through Richmond, VA and all other areas as well.

Thank you in advance for all of your support. In Christ's love, Teresa Goodnow Kendall
