Loronia Annette "Redd" Millner Funeral this afternoon - 23
04/10/10     Lynn Pritchett  (1978)      lynnpritchett@comcast.net
Loronia's funeral will be today this Saturday afternoon at 1 pm.

When I saw the picture of Loronia and her granddaughter Tiarra on the front of the newspaper, I felt a sense of sadness. Both died in a fire that started late Monday at her home at 118 Pony Place in Martinsville. The inspection made at the home gives a bit of comfort that perhaps they simply died in their sleep, never being awakened as the unattended pot of food left on the stove seemed to be the cause of the fire.

It was a bit of comfort to read some of the thoughts of "Redd"s sister, Patty Millner Niblett, who was Tiarra's mom. You can read them in this newspaper report www.martinsvillebulletin.com/article.cfm

This is the obituary that was in the newspaper. It finally occurred to me that if I get this posted, perhaps some of you might be able to come to the funeral.

The link to the website in the message I left doesn't seem to work. Here are three that relate to the news coverage about the fire and deaths.
