David Pratt and I used to work together in the telecom business (for GTE, which is now Verizon)back in the late 70's, early 80's.
He answered to 'JD.' I remember he drove a Plymouth Superbird for a while (until a tree jumped out in front of him one night up in NW PA)and wore a floppy old leather hat and did a dead-on Elvis impression. Played bass or guitar in a couple bands I think...The last time I spoke to him was about 8 years ago and he was w/a small wireless carrier that was eventually bought by T-Mobile. At that time he was living in The Woodlands, a suburb of Houston, was married and had at least 3 almost-grown kids. |
