Phyllis Ann Wilson Finley - 16
10/23/19     Ken Wilson  (1964)      kenbenbeth@gmail.co
My beautiful sister phyllis passed away on October 22 at home, after a long battle with cancer. She will always be my little sister. My heart is verysad because I couldn't protect her this time. Phyllis lost her husband, Joe in an auto accident several years ago, but she carried on and kept her faith. she was always surrounded by friends and family. She was proceede in death by our parents, Ray and Hessie Wilson. She is survived by her son, Josh, a daughter, Jessica, a granddaughted, Saundra, and her little dog bed buddy Sadie, her brothers,
Ronnie and Ken Wilson, classes of 1963 and 1964.
Phyllis was a a 1969 graduate of MHS and a 73 graduate of James Madison Univ. She taught school in Kingsport Tennnessee and coached varsity volleyball until her semi-retirement in 2017. She was faithful to her Christian values and very active in her church. Phyllis is now the eternal angle on my shoulder. Now, she watches over me.

Re: Phyllis Ann Wilson Finley
My condolences to you and your family, Ken. She was a wonderful classmate and a class act as a majorette in the marching band. We will all miss her.

Re: Phyllis Ann Wilson Finley
Thank you for your kind words. She was a really good majorette wasn't she...Fire batons was her favorite. First time I saw her perform was in the fall of 66. I was home on leave from the Navy...I was so very proud. All of that practice in our front yard really paid off.
