Condolences to Laura Graham - 16
05/27/08     Debbie Saunders Garris  (1969)      jgarris829@aol.com
My sympathy to Laura and her family (Cindy and Joe) on the death of her wonderful mother, Martha. All of us who knew her and were privileged to have her as a Girl Scout leader will miss her. She was truly a class act. God bless to Laura and her family.

Re: Condolences to Laura Graham
Thanks, Debbie. Dad and Cindy and I have received many thoughtful letters and messages from those who remember my Mother for her work as a Girl Scout leader and other community contributions - and also(particularly for our class) as a good-humored hostess and free-lance therapist, like when Suzanne needed a sympathetic ear and a peanut and butter sandwich. She, Nancy, Sara Jane (Draper), and Jean B. were all at her services.

Some, including you Debbie, may be relieved that one of the promises I had made to my Mother was that I would never let her kitchen table out of the family. I have it now. It knows too much.

Laura, I hadn't looked at the website in a while and didn't know about your Mom passing away. I'm so sorry to hear. I know what you mean about kitchen tables and I know your mother is smiling in heaven knowing you have it.
