Observation - 15
09/30/07     Bob White  (1968)      quailster@msn.com
This weekend I went to her 40th high school reunion with the most patient and long suffering woman in New Mexico. Since she is obviously much older than me, I was somewhat timid with her classmates; but received a nice taste of what may be in store come next May. This gathering of the Academy of the Sacred Heart--Loretto, and St. Michaels Boys' High School was held over two nights at the Santa Fe Country Club, and while I felt like a mere babe next to these folks, I was lured into much good time involving libations and the testing on the dance floor of my newly acquired replacement knee. I looked at both as a good trial run for next May, and am glad to report I held my own.
I will observe that while we can lay claim to having Doctors and Lawyers in our ranks, these folks had a Doctor(Chief of Dermatology at UNM), a Lawyer(newest nominee to the NM Supreme Court) and an Indian Chief (Governor of Tesuque Pueblo). I was quite impressed, but I will add that like our adjacent classes at Mavahi, they are nice folks but are just not as pretty as we are.
I start my trek home this Thursday, and look forward to seeing some of you as I motor my way from Chapel Hill to NYC.

Re: Observation
Glad you're doing better. Haven't heard from you lately and was wondering about you. Let me know if you get by Martinsville on your motor trip. My cell phone number is 276-734-0417. Maybe you can adjust your trip for the "ole dawgs" on Oct. 13. Make this a great day and take care.

Re: Observation
As you are aware, beauty's only skin deep....but that Southern accent, priceless.
Looking forward to testing the new knee to see if you can still twist the night away.
