Question - 15
08/12/01     Bob Whte  (1968)      quailnm@earthlink.com
After a couple of months I figured this site would be loaded with messages. What is the deal with our classmates? Are they just not as intelligent and cyber savvy as we are? That must be it. Of course those poor dullards in the Class of 67 are sitting there with a total of 5 messages, and then there is the class of 70 poor pitiful things. Oh well, maybe it will pick up.

Re: Question
Bob I thought we would have more messages also. I hate to see the class of 64 and 65 leading the way in contacts.

Re: Question
So, slamming the class of '67 are we? Of course I have been thinking the same thing!!Hopefully your message will create chaos and get those guys fired up!!!

Re: Question
I don't think many people know about this site,
or if they do they're just behind the times. Does that suprise you?

Re: Question
The only reason that '64 and '65 have more messages is that they have recently had reunions. What gives with everyone. They certainly can't have anything better to do with their time! Why don't you pull out your directory and just go down the list and ask? Easy for me to say...... :-)

Re: Question
My class isn't much better. Maybe putting something out on Classmates.com or one of the other alumni sites about this site would stir some interest. Think I did for our class

Re: Question
I think it's a combination of all of those reasons. Some folks still don't know about the site while others know about it but don't think they are Internet literate enough to actually use it. There are also those who are here but not talking to us ... shy maybe. (I KNOW WHO YOU ARE!) And there are still others, believe it or not, who know about the site and know how to use it, but have forgotten over the years how wonderful we all are.

We - you and I - have relatives who have relatives who are related to each other. What does that make us?

Re: Question
I've just found out about this site from a friend of the family that graduated in the 50's

Not everyone was rich like some in the class of 68. Most likely most are still not. There are probably not many that have a computer.

And most have probably moved away for a better life.

My name is Phillip Jones and I was the one that was taeased no end because i carried all my books to class or wore the old timey aviator cap (that had the ear muffs in the winter time. I also came from the poor side of town (northside). Wasn't in the "in" crowd.

My high school years wasn't the most pleasant. Frankly my elementary school years were not either.
