Greetings, Former Classmates! - 11
08/16/01     Judy Crews  (1964)      jgcrews@us.ibm.com
Can it really be 37 years since we were in high school?? I still feel as though
I'm 15 and can't wait for that next sock hop! And then I look in the mirror
and my bubble pops!!

Thanks, Geeta, for sending me the website address, also. Not only is it terrific
to hear from everyone and learn what they're doing, but can also be a great
vehicle for planning and generating interest in our next reunion.

I'm still in Raleigh and working for IBM, and intend to do so for about
2 more years. Then I hope to travel as much as possible and perhaps get a
fun, stess-free job.

Tommy Hall, that was a sweet tribute to Ken Whitener which brought tears to
my eyes.

Love to hear from you guys!

Hey Judy!
Remember when we got suspended for going to Drewy Mason during study hall and got caught by the principal? I wanted to visit with Johhny Pete Gwilliams; well, his daughter was the Ticket Director at ODU for the athletic dept! A beautiful young woman and already quite a bit older than we were that day. Talk about time passing!

Re: Greetings, Former Classmates!
Hey, Judy!!! What have you been doing since we all went to Nags Head? Hope we'll be able to get together again soon -- let's plan on it. Glad to finally see an honest explanation for that most unfortunate incident and hope that the 3 of you have at last been released from detention(or at least have been granted work release.) Power To The People! Keep in touch, okay? Anne

Re: Greetings, Former Classmates!
Anne, glad you asked what I've been doing; I just moved to a new home in Raleigh,
a cute little house that looks like a 1930's bungalow, but it's new. Y'all should plan
to come here some weekend and we can have a pajama party. I would love to have
y'all. I just got back from a 10-day cruise to Alaska and stay in Vancouver. Really
beautiful weather and gorgeous scenery. Other than that, absolutely nothing is
new. What about you? Are you still seeing that same guy you had with you at the
last reunion?

Re: Greetings, Former Classmates!
Hi Judy,
Hope you're doing well, good to see your name on the site. I'm still in Martinsville, but working in Danville....I continue to teach emotionally disturbed children...

I had so much experience in high school I thought I would make it a career...

Take Care,
Ken Wilson

Re: Greetings, Former Classmates!
Dear Judy, Thanks for writing us. Dink appreciated your message. Nothing going on
much around here. My class is helping the SCA decorate the football field for this week's
first home game against Jefferson Forest. Teaching at MHS keeps me young. I am ex-
cited about Jennifer and Jean heading up our next reunion. Hope to see you soon.
Call when you come home to visit. Love, Ann Carter
